Join us for a winter bike ride to warm your heart and soul!

With our electric bikes as your personal sleigh, we’ll guide you from one toasty and tasty experience to the next, along an 8-mile ride through picture-perfect Asheville. This guided ebike tour is also a tour of the senses, as we make extended “warm-up stops” along the way to take in hot beverages, roaring fire places, and delightful bites of comfort food.

“A warm winter bike ride??” you reasonably wonder. Yes! We have the technology, the warm clothing, and the hot cocoa to make a winter bike tour cozy and fun. Will there be a shiver or two along the way? Sure, but much like the Swedish spa practice of alternating cold and hot baths, the chilly moments will make the warm-up stops that much more delightful. And with our complimentary hand warmers, gloves, and optional electrically-heated scarfs, this e-bike ride does its best to outpace old-man winter.

Our first stop will be at the halls of the Grove Arcade, a masterpiece of local architecture built 100 years ago by E.W. Grove to be the finest shopping experience in the world.

From there we will ride down the quaint streets of the Historic Montford Neighborhood alongside some of the most beautiful grand old homes in Asheville. We’ll then take the peaceful Reed Creek and Glenn’s Creek Greenways to stop in at Luella’s Barbeque for a savory snack of your choice – with meat, veggie, and vegan options.

Then we start the climb through North Asheville neighborhoods up to the historic Grove Park Inn. We will warm up with hot chocolate or cider and pass in front of the Inn’s magnificent 14-foot fireplaces before taking in the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the Sunset Terrace.

After heading back downtown, we’ll stop in Pack Square to enjoy a sweet treat from French Broad Chocolate Lounge, while learning about Asheville’s layered history in the spot where Asheville was originally founded. Our ride will conclude at our 225 Coxe Avenue location.
